*1988

Aňa is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, a Studio of graphic design and drawing lead by prof. Jiří Lindovský. She also participated in a one-semester internship at the Studio of Photography and Video at the Bucharest Academy of Arts and other residential stays, e.g. in the Egon Schiele Art Center in Český Krumlov or Atelierhaus Salzamt in Linz, Austria. She lives and works in Prague.

She works primarily with analogue photos. For most cycles, she documents the "places of silence closed in the city noise". For example shop windows of bankrupt stores, not functional fountains in the city, or randomly created still lifes on seats of parked cars. Places preserved by timelessness and solitude.
