Martin Faltejsek

Martin Faltejsek (* 6/1993) comes from Lanškroun, located at the foothills of Orlické hory. Currently he lives in Prague and studies The Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. He's been interested about world of photography for nine years now. Within his photographic work he is mostly into selfportrait, through which he runs away from the cycle of his life and reflects his relationship to the homeland. He also likes to document ordinary or unusual days in his life in subjective way.

Among his biggest professional achievements belongs triple winning in competition Czech Press Photo and nomination to World Press Photo. Except his free photography work he also makes commercial photographies, he cooperated with brands Lexus, BMW, ELLE, Hermés, H&M, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Emirates and much more.
