Design Studio Vobouch is created by designers Markéta Kalivodová and Richard Švejda. Markéta studied at the Pilsen Faculty of Design and Art of Ladislav Sutnar, where she currently works as an assistant in the Studio of ceramics. Except that, she is also a member of Nalejto ceramic group. Richard also studied at the Pilsen Faculty of Design and Art and then he graduated from Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.

Their work combines various materials and production technologies in a very original way. However, porcelain is for Vobouch still a dominant feature - other approaches and materials follow. They combine porcelain for example with concrete, leather or they work with links to traditional czech Blue onion porcelain.

The studio has won many awards, such as the main prize for best designer of Czech Design Week 2015. They were also nominated as the "discovery of the year" at the Czech Grand Design 2016.
