Exhibition from Aš to Už/horod: or else heritage

This year we celebrate the anniversary of the First Republic. A project of a textile production studio of the Prague University of Applied Arts, which received  the grant from the Ministry of Education,  provided its students for two semesters with a theme of Czech companies from the First Republic. The project included both the research of facts and the artistic outputs.

Glass Pavilion Klatovy

In the garden of Dr. Karel Hostaš Museum of Natural History in Klatovy, a historical building from the end of the 19th century, stands not too large a building which presents in its form an equivalent counterpart to the even older exhibition space. It is the Glass Pavilion, awarded the first place in the prestigious Grand Prix competition of Czech architects in 2015.

Sudek, Funke, Drtikol... Czech and Slovak photography from the collection of PPF

At the beginning of the summer a photographic exhibition was opened at the Regional Gallery in Liberec. CHOKER ☞ Mikysková, Pavlíčková and Kriššák exhibit at gallery Holešovická Šachta

The Choker exhibition connects three young artists - Patrik Kriššák, Ivana Pavlíčková and Andrea Mikysková - and three different media - painting, object and video.The topics that they deal with are ecology, technology, and also the problem of self-expression and existentialism. The exhibition is open from 21.8. to 15.9.
